Bieber Fever

It was a huge 'hoo-ha' last week when the teenage heart-throb Justin Bieber made his way to town for his 2 nights concert, part of his on going world tour.  Originally he was due to perform for one night only but with the massive response from his fans, he added another night of show for Dubai.  Luckily for me, raising a family with no daughter and a couple of teenage boys that simply do not care about the Bieber fever, I didn't have to pocket out the $$$ to pay for the tickets and busting my behind to beat the crazy traffic and parking to the venue of the concert but I can't say the same for those with kids that were attending the show.

The next day splashed across the newspapers news of Justin Bieber failing to appear on time, instead he was more than 2 hours late for both of his concerts!  Fans that came as early as 7 am in the quest to score the best spots in order to get a better view of their idol in the open air stadium, waited up to 15 hours with  little to no water in the temperature as high as 38 degrees!  Paramedic reported that a big numbers of young fans, some were as young as 8 fainted due to dehydration and heat and had to be given medical help on site. It was a mess.

Well, congratulation Justin for showing the world what an inconsiderate fool you are.  May your fans see this fact and realize that you are worth the amount of respect you give others and in this case, none.

Now on to this week's outfit, it was inspired by Charlize Theron's style that I mix together.  I always love her street style which in my opinion is very chic and easy.  She would look good even in simple tee and jeans hence the saying "It is not what you wear, it's how you wear it!"

  8. You look every bit as cool as Charlize! That's a great blazer - so classic with a white top, but also would look good with so many other things.

  10. I love Charlize and I think your inspired by Charlize style is a winner too. As for the Bieber...he pulled the same trick over here in Britain and there was a huge backlash afterwards. Clearly he didn't learn his lesson. Brat.

  12. I hate it when concerts start late, that's incredibly inconsiderate. On a positive note though I love the white blazer and think that you do Charlize very well :)

  16. I've never seen much of Charlize's street style but I love both of the looks you've showcased here - they're elegant but perfectly simple and unfussy, which is style perfection in my book. You did a wonderful job recreating the look, as well; you can never go wrong with black and white!

  21. Charlize is one of my favorite female celebrities. I think she always looks classy and chic. And you never hear any drama about her. Beiber on the other hand, is slowing spiraling out of control. Not sure what's going on with him!

You look great, I love the look of a white blazer!

  23. Bieber fever should waste away with all that he's been doing (or not doing) lately! Think his mom needs to get involved with his life again and jerk him back into reality. Oh well...you look fabulous! Love the sneakers with the outfit even better than the "original" shoes.

  24. You look beyond cool! Okay, it's official, I'm gonna get me some of these adorable kicks, just like yours. Done. So cute in your little, louche white toppers, and black skinnies.

You are just the best influence on me!!!!!!

Bieber ... snooze. I remember, in the Way-Back, how nuts we all were about John, Paul, George and Ringo. And, of course who could forget _______________ ?(Insert your favorite, genuine rock star's name in the field provided.)
    How low we've sunk.
Have a lovely week, Mrs. C.
