Closet Must Have - LBD

I am sure very girl knows that a little black dress (LBD) is an essential to have in the closet. Some asked "How many should I have?  These trends are changing rapidly and I found myself with an outdated pair everytime!"  I personally have more than one LBD in my closet but if you must have only one, I would say the trick is to find something classic in shape and style to last in your closet for a long time!

    So many nice dresses but I vote for the ASOS one, although I can always do without the asymmetrical hem. I'm hoping that trend ends soon.

    There's something about black, particularly in dresses... to me, no matter if the style isn't on trend, they always look classic. I can never part with any of my black clothes, even if I'm not wearing them regularly. And I always browse the ASOS selection of LBDs, they have so many great pieces for every occasion. Although I must admit, the last Hayden dress in this post really caught my eye - I love the subtle detailling on the neckline!

    Ooooh! Nice encapsulation of the classic of all classics. I don't think I'm the only one that gets all tied up with "getting away from black". But when I (we!) do that, we leave out this most effective and most evocative style-tool. You're quite right ... in every LBD is a little *Breakfast at Tiffany's*.
