Happy Monday and welcome to my new home! Yes, Mrs Jack Of All Trades (MJOAT) is now operating under a new domain! It was a slight chaos over the weekend when the transferring process took place but thankfully it all went back to normal. I am also now on Instagram (finally!) and I would appreciate it if you could follow me there and like my page on Facebook too. For that I thank you in advance!
This week's outfit is the second part of my cardigan mini series. If you missed the first part, you can read about it here. This pair is perfect on the day that I don't feel like going through the closet or put too much thoughts on what to wear. Throw on a pair of tee, jeans and viola, off I go! I actually love the tassels and the slouch pockets as they give that less serious feel to this cardigan.
I was trying to play with masculine/feminine balance here by pairing the dainty Chanel bag with a pair of sneakers. All in all it was a comfortable outfit, perfect for my casual day out in town.

Club Monaco stripe top
Lucky Brand tassel cardigan
Forever 21 jeans
H&M scarf
Aldo hidden wedges sneakers
Chanel vintage camera bag
This looks so cute! The tassels are such a fun look and very unique. I guess my easy day is a big sweater that I pull on -- my new Everlane one is quickly becoming my everyday one! It's so comfortable, fits oversized, but not too much. And it's sooo soft. Yep, my new go-to!
ReplyDeletexo~ kim
This Everlane is intriguing... :)
DeleteTo my mind red color looks at it's best combined black and white pieces. You have wonderful taste in clothes for sure! Those photographs are adorable as well.
ReplyDeleteWish you a great day ahead!
The photos are of a couple of 14 year olds.. so they are very amateurish :) I am hoping to 'up' my pictures by collaborating with some local photographer, hopefully soon :)
DeleteWhat a fabulous look!! I think you got that balance just right.
ReplyDeleteMerci, madame! :)
DeleteLoving this look pretty girl!! Congrats on your new domain url! My favorite go to cardigan is a striped blue and white. I cannot get enough of it!
ReplyDeleteYour stripe cardi sound great.. stripe cardi is something I don't have. Making a mental note : To get printed cardi if I must buy more cardis!
DeleteReally fun look and I'm all about the comfortable shoes (lover of tennis shoes here!).

ReplyDeleteblue hue wonderland

I love long slouchy sleeves on cardigans and the tassels on this one is pretty cool. I am now following you on Instagram and Facebook. Love the look of your blog's design, thanks for stopping by "my place" earlier - have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I will sure be reciprocating!

ReplyDeleteChic on the Cheap
Congrats! I remember when I switched domains...it was a mess because it didn't come with any directions. Then, my ads stopped working..argh! Well, I'm glad you got everyhing in order...love the red pants :-)
ReplyDeletePheww! I'm glad it all passed :)
DeleteRed and black is such a striking combination! Love how you played it here with black cardy and sneakers and red pants. Cool!

Thank you, appreciate it!
DeleteThis look is classy and comfortable too. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love cardigans, coats and jackets. The only thing is that, I wish we have a weather that allows me to wear all of those.
ReplyDeleteYou look good in this cardigan especially pairing it with the cool sneakers wedges =)
Sure I understand you perfectly. When I was living in Malaysia, I only dig out the thick clothing when I were to travel but now in Dubai at least we get colder weather 3-4 months a year
DeleteI love the mix of prints with the scarf and the stripes! I'm following you on Instagram now :)

Thank you, Sharon :)
DeleteLove the nautical feel to this outfit. The red stands out so vividly!
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Sabrina
LOVE the new blog design and your photos just pop now! What a great cool and comfy look you've got today. The stripes are adorable with that scarf.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures would do for now but I'm in the process of collaborating with some real photographers. The twins did well but it's time to step up a bit. Thanks, Alison :)
DeleteMJOAT, darling ... that works! What a cutie you are and always will be. There should be a category of cute designated as a "beauty-cutie" ... that's for you! You look about 16 here, and adorable. Great combination, and as hip as a cardi can get. I wish a tolerably cool summer for you, and a long spring ... that's my wish for us here in NoWhere. Have a great week, kid.
ReplyDeleteJan! Yeah, I thought the old html was too long and MJOAT is easier to remember. Thanks for the sweet words. It's getting warmer slowly here and I'm not liking it but for you on the other side I hope the warm will arrive soon :)
DeleteLove the new site, especially your link colors! I will follow you on Social Media ASAP.
ReplyDeleteYou look like a teenager in this outfit - and I mean that as a compliment! It doesn't look like you're trying too hard to pass yourself off as "junior". What I wouldn't give for a dip in your fountain of youth! ;-)
Alicia
Alicia, there is no fountain of youth, it is called 'the sunglasses trick'! Without it all wrinkles come out to play ;)
DeleteCongrats on the new domain!
ReplyDeleteI also have a go to black cardigan but it's the typical style. Yours has some personality with the tassel! It's a very attractive look as the black and red are very strong visually. Always a perfect color combination.
Have a great week ahead!
Karen, sometimes the plain ones are better! Mine can't be used twice in a row without being noticed! :) You have a great weekend!
DeleteI must confess, I don't have any cardigans. Just one that doesn't see the outside of my house! But yours is glam and I love the red, white and black color combo! Thanks for linking up to Manic Monday! -Gina
ReplyDeleteOn the Daily Express
Gorgeous, gorgeous bag! This is definitely a look I would sport - I know some people don't like the wedge sneakers, but I love my Isabel Marant Bobbys! Fun outfit - thanks for sharing with manic monday!
