The Cardigan Part 2

Happy Monday and welcome to my new home! Yes, Mrs Jack Of All Trades (MJOAT) is now operating under a new domain! It was a slight chaos over the weekend when the transferring process took place but thankfully it all went back to normal. I am also now on Instagram (finally!) and I would appreciate it if you could follow me there and like my page on Facebook too.  For that I thank you in advance!

This week's outfit is the second part of my cardigan mini series.  If you missed the first part, you can read about it here. This pair is perfect on the day that I don't feel like going through the closet or put too much thoughts on what to wear. Throw on a pair of tee, jeans and viola, off I go!  I actually love the tassels and the slouch pockets as they give that less serious feel to this cardigan.

I was trying to play with masculine/feminine balance here by pairing the dainty Chanel bag with a pair of sneakers. All in all it was a comfortable outfit, perfect for my casual day out in town.

What about you? Do you have some sort of easy day cardigan too? Would love to hear about them!

  1. This looks so cute! The tassels are such a fun look and very unique. I guess my easy day is a big sweater that I pull on -- my new Everlane one is quickly becoming my everyday one! It's so comfortable, fits oversized, but not too much. And it's sooo soft. Yep, my new go-to!

  2. To my mind red color looks at it's best combined black and white pieces. You have wonderful taste in clothes for sure! Those photographs are adorable as well.
Wish you a great day ahead!

  28. MJOAT, darling ... that works! What a cutie you are and always will be. There should be a category of cute designated as a "beauty-cutie" ... that's for you! You look about 16 here, and adorable. Great combination, and as hip as a cardi can get. I wish a tolerably cool summer for you, and a long spring ... that's my wish for us here in NoWhere. Have a great week, kid.

    1. Jan! Yeah, I thought the old html was too long and MJOAT is easier to remember. Thanks for the sweet words. It's getting warmer slowly here and I'm not liking it but for you on the other side I hope the warm will arrive soon :)

You look like a teenager in this outfit - and I mean that as a compliment! It doesn't look like you're trying too hard to pass yourself off as "junior". What I wouldn't give for a dip in your fountain of youth! ;-)

  30. Congrats on the new domain!

I also have a go to black cardigan but it's the typical style. Yours has some personality with the tassel! It's a very attractive look as the black and red are very strong visually. Always a perfect color combination.

    Have a great week ahead!
