So, it was Valentine's day last Friday as the whole world know. I am not sure if I mentioned it before but to me Valentine's is a bit over rated. So, no dinner date or anything of sort for me and Captain. Instead we took the boys out for lunch at The One Cafe on Valentine's afternoon which I have to say was a good idea. The restaurant was pretty quiet and we were served immediately! Now, you don't get that everyday in a busy city like Dubai!
On to the outfit, I bought this dress from Etsy.com couple of years ago maybe and only managed to wear it now. You see, I was oblivious back then on the vintage clothing sizing and did not know that usually vintage sizes are smaller than today's (you can read more on my vintage shopping tips here). Now, I usually wear a small but for vintage clothing I should have sized up and get a medium. So to make story short, when the dress arrived I found that it was on the tighter side especially around the arms and bust area. Last Friday, I took the dress out and tried it on and viola, it fit better than the last time! Maybe with all the housework I lost a bit of weight? Well, who knows? Whatever it is I was happy to have finally wore the dress :)

We had a laid back Valentine's Day as well, which I loved! We definitely don't hype it up as much as most people do.
