Maxi Skirt 3 in 1 - Final Part (Finally!)

Happy Monday, everyone!  Hope the weekend was a fruitful and enjoyable one.

We have come to the final part of my outfit trilogy (George Lucas would be proud haha!) of this maxi skirt that I love so much!  Too bad they come in limited colors.. can you imagine if they come in yellow or electric blue?! That would be divine! You can read Part 1 and Part 2 if you missed the initial bit.

The final pairing is very simple, everyday look.  I teamed the skirt, worn as long maxi skirt with the very much in trend 'ombre' color top layered with a matching tank. Perfect for shopping or for running errands.  I paired the outfit with a strappy wedges for heights because on my 5'3" frame the skirt is a bit long worn as skirt even after folding the top once.

So, what do you think of the this maxi skirt?  Which styling do you like best - A skirt, a long tube dress or a shorter tube dress?

  9. Love this pairing! It's my favorite. The pink shirt balances the grey skirt very well bringing it in to summer. I really like these posts because it important to find ways to rework our wardrobes . Some of the best compliments come when you get creative and pair what you already have in your closet . Thanks and please do this again!

  15. I love that you're rockin the maxis even though you're petite like me. :) I haven't really gotten into the maxi trend, but I think they look so great on other people!

    1. I think fitted maxi would work on petite frame, you know the ones with less volume so that they won't swallow us!

  16. You make the maxi skirt look so feminine. I haven't worn a long dress or skirt since my wedding day. But I've seen plenty of ladies who managed to look so stylish in them including you.

  21. This one is very flattering on you! I've tried on a few that are too tight in the hips. I should look for one that is cut more like the one you're wearing. ;-)
