Hello, everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. I wish I had better but unfortunately I was so busy that I didn't even notice the weekend was over! So, please excuse me if I haven't been visiting your blogs these few days. Anyway, busy for a good cause is better than nothing, right?
This week and next I will be featuring floral top trend. This top here has been in my closet for a year now and I have featured it here on the blog a few times but this time I want to style it with another fabulous trend that is popular now, lace skirt.
This is such a feminine combo, too feminine for me in fact but once in a while it is good to get out of my comfort zone and try something new. This makes a good outfit for lunch with the girls or even with the other half and I think with the length of the skirt not being too short, it could be great for school events too. What do you think?

Wow you are gorgeous in this outfit!! Love it!

So fresh and feminine, very nice!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful and classic style, you wear it so well. Lovely pale colors look great with your hair.

Beautiful look...the skirt is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and feminine and fresh! Thanks for linking up to Visible Monday.
ReplyDeleteSo uber feminine and pretty. You must feel like a delicate little blossom while wearing this....except those heels would give me the steel to this outit...the "don't mess with a woman who can walk in these baby's". :)
ReplyDeleteThe lace detail along the edges of the skirt skimming along your knees is fabulous. A romantic and classic look.

ReplyDeleteIt s chic and elegant!
such a pretty look! i love the skirt, looks great paired with your top
ReplyDeleteThis is a very feminine and not what I expect to see you wearing, but I think the style suits you beautifully! It's always a challenge to get out of your fashion comfort zone - after all, the most important thing about getting dressed is feeling good in what you wear - but it's worth taking the risk. I absolutely adore your skirt and handbag!

ReplyDeleteHi Mrs. C! That skirt is adorable and you look so good in it! Love the heels as well. Do you shop at Forever 21 often? I haven't been going there but I think I need to add it to my shopping list after seeing your skirt.

I drop in once in a while to see what they have in-store. The thing with F21 is that it can be a hit or miss
DeleteI love it! I get a lot of skirts from Forever 21, too. The lace and floral combination is divine. I really like the top and I'm generally not in love with florals. You always look impeccable and this week is no exception ;-)
ReplyDeleteSpashionista (Alicia)

Oh so pretty! I don't wear much feminine either but I think you pulled this off perfectly. The shoes and bag are the ultimate accessories!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha, an outfit is NEVER too feminine for me! I'm absolutely in love with this outfit. I would wear it from head to toe. The colours and print of your top are just so pretty!

This is so pretty - I love the lace and floral together! The soft colours are very girly - it's fine to go full-on girly-girl!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful beautiful look! I really love the floral top and I love the lace skirt! I adore feminine looks, and I tend to wear them often, so this look is right up my alley! You're making me want to buy a lace skirt! :)

Love this look. So elegant, feminine, and pretty.
ReplyDeleteVery different for you ... but you look lovely in it! Very fresh, pretty, not too sweet combination of beautiful fabric and textural contrast! But then, you know that ... just wanted you to know I'm paying attention and learning! I particularly like that saucy little strip of Coach logo print ... just to keep things a little off balance!
ReplyDeleteYes, ladylike but far away from mumsy for school stuff. Excellent.
So lovely! i love the combination of sophisticated lace & soft floral prints, its very feminine and quite unusual from your typical leather & studs outfits. love your diverse taste in fashion

ReplyDeleteHello again Ida. Thanks so much for the latest compliments on my blog. I appreciate them all.
ReplyDeleteNow as far as the sandals from yesterday. Mine were actually purchased last year through Il Cammini which is an Italian Shoe Brand/Store, we have here in Europe. But they have identical to mine this year, either in Silver or Gold at Piperlime.com so check them out. I love them too. I wore them a lot last Summer. =) Now, I wish I would have gotten the Black+Gold pair too. It was hard choosing, but ultimately I got the Silver since I have some Gold Sandals already. =)
I hope you can find a pair through Piperlime.
Also, E-Mail me at ada.furxhiATgmail.com. I want to talk to you about something. Thanks so much.
Gee, thanks! I'll check out piperlime.com soon :)

This post goes to show that the handbag and shoes can elevate the entire outfit!! It looks like you spent $$$$ on the top and skirt. I also happen to think that this is a lovely look on you. I haven't been by too often, so I don't know your signature looks, but I think this is very attractive. It's definitely classy and sensuous, a good combination in my mind.
