How much of animal print is considered too much?
Happy Monday, everybody! Hope your weekend was a good one. For us here it was a blessing! It was raining here in Dubai which is rare and with that the temperature has gone down a bit. Nice and fresh!
Back to the topic, how much of animal print is too much? In my opinion, a dose goes a long way. How much is a dose, is the next question. Well, I personally think one item at a time is just nice. Be it a bag, a pair of killer heels, jeans or in my case here, this light top. Keeping everything else to minimum is also important so not to create the unnecessary clash between patterns or colors. I chose to pair this top with a simple pair of leggings, shoes and bag in dark color for a more subdued effect and the gold hardware from the belt and bag help compliment the color pallet of the whole ensemble.
What is your rule on wearing animal print?

I love a bit of animal print....agree just one piece at a time. But i do think it looks so much better on dark hair girls, somehow more exotic! xx
ReplyDeletep.s. would you like to follow each other? xx
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Visible Monday. I love the animal print. I'm a big fan...I wore my zebra shoes this morning! Debbie @ ilovemylemonadelife.com

Ah, so beautiful! I love this pop. I would've thought an entire animal print top would be a little much, but you prove that theory wrong! You look fabulous and oh so chic.
ReplyDeleteI really like your style. It's chic and tasteful and you always dress to complement your fantastic figure.
ReplyDeleteI agree, a splash is fine. I do have one rule though. I try to never go to Walmart in any type of animal print. :-)
ReplyDeleteHaha! Hmm.. I wonder why ;)
Deletechic! love your blouse and heels!

ReplyDeleteyou look so chic! I love your look..
ReplyDeleteI really like how you are wearing it:) I don't really have rules, generally I would tend to agree with you, but at the same time some people just can pull off " too much". You know those people- some just manage to be stylish while breaking all the rules:)
ReplyDeleteI agree! But unfortunately I am not one of them lucky ones!
DeleteOne of my style rules is just one piece of animal print per outfit. I totally agree with you! This is a very classy look.
ReplyDeleteI love this look on you, the leopard print is subtle and sexy. You look amazing!

I try and limit it to one piece of animal print per outfit. However, I think there might be the rare exception if it's subtle.

Thank you for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is so cool and edgy. I think wearing two different animal prints at once is not good and would have a tendency to clash.
Nice and chic outfit. I love anything leopard. Looking lovely as always, Mrs. C!

You look so elegant! I love animal print too but would not wear it from head to toe, too much for my taste. But I can combine a top and shoes, or shoes and a bag.
ReplyDeleteYou can never have enough animal print!! well u can but... never enough pieces :) love this top btw!

I completely agree that a little animal print goes a long way. Too much and you risk looking like a cougar (and not the one in the animal kingdom). You look fab in yours! I love it paired with simple black pants & heels.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my blog; it's great to meet you!

I have one item that is animal print. I fondly refer to it as my cat vest. Faux fur, expertly made, and I love it. For me, one piece in my entire wardrobe is enough, LOL. I do agree with your choice of one item of clothing per outfit. And yes, when I think of Dubai, the last thing that comes to mind is rain. It must feel so fresh and cooling when you do receive it, yes?
ReplyDeleteSue xo
Oh, surely.. we crave for rain :)
DeleteYou look great, and your "dose" seems just right. You look cool and pretty in this sheer blouse ... tasteful hint of dark beneath it. However, a "dose" for me is never been more than a Spy-inspired bag I have. I just can't get over feeling that I look a little "Peg Bundy" in animal prints. My loss, I think.
ReplyDeleteAmazing post!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet this photos, I’m surprised because your sense for feel the fashion It’s so amazing.
