Military Inspired and 'Buried'

Captain came back from Moscow yesterday and later in the afternoon we decided to have some 'us' time by watching a movie.  We decided on one called Buried with Ryan Reynolds.  I was so skeptical about the movie in the beginning when I realized that we were among the five, yes, 5 people that bought the tickest for that particular show!  I asked the girl at the counter

"Is it that bad?"

"No, of course not!  It is not doing well because the Avengers opens today," she replied.

Aaaah..., that explained.  Well thanks to Avengers we had the theater almost all to ourselves and without those annoying group of people who do not switched off their phone and openly talks on them during a movie!

Anyway, the movie was so disturbing but hey, that's the reality of life.  It was about a truck driver that was contracted to deliver some supplies in Iraq that was kidnapped and buried alive.  Hats off to Ryan Reynolds for a great performance.  When an actor can grab your attention for an hour an a half watching  him in a tiny box all the way through-out the movie, he has to be good.  Well done!

  6. Cute! And Ryan Reynolds could just stand there shirtless for an hour and a half and say nothing and that would be the best movie ever...
