I love travelling. Who doesn't? A chance to see the world that we share with billions of other people with different custom, culture, food and lifestyle. So when Captain asked if I would like to accompany him on his trip to either Moscow or Venice next month, I was left undecided! Which one should I choose? I've been to Venice many times but each trip to Venice is always like the first. I have never been to Moscow but the idea of geting the visa (if required) is something I am not looking forward to.
Which of these destination would you choose? Please share your experience with me if you've been to Moscow, I would love to hear it!
Speaking of travelling, today I pulled out this necklace I bought in one of my trips but the sad thing is neither I or Captain remember which one? It must be at one of the bazaars I love so much when I travel, the one that sells everything under the sun and bargaining is a must. Anyway, this necklace is perfect to 'upgrade' any simple ensemble to a more sophisticated one and for that I am glad I took her home wherever she was from!

DeleteI've never been to Venice nor Moscow, but hands down I would choose Venice!

I think it is Venice for me this time too :)

LOVE XOXO
Aww, thanks Nanoosh :) Truly appreciate it. Will be dropping by soon :)
DeleteI think what I like about this look is that it' incorporates the trend without looking too trendy. I never thought I could pull off the colored jeans at my age but you've changed my mind! Now about traveling, something I live for. If I were you I would visit both! But not sure if that's doable with your boys. But wouldn't it be nice to see something new? However, maybe Moscow is better appreciated when the weather is nicer. Hmm... Either way we want lots of pics!
ReplyDeleteSisozuki, I can do one trip this month. The kids are in school and will not be coming along. Maybe I can go to Moscow when my husband gets another trip during the summer. We'll see but pictures definitely!
DeleteAwesome necklace and bracelets! Love the colour of your jeans)

Thanks, V!
DeleteI love your bracelets and the shade of your pants!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely go to Moscow! Although getting a visa can be a pain (depending on the country), it will be so worth it! I've had some visas that are really easy to obtain, and others that make you go through loop holes. I don't know how it will be, but every time, I've been grateful that I've done it!

Yes, Moscow sounds far and exciting but not sure if I will have the time to get the visa done in time. The trip to Moscow is early next month and Venice is somewhere in the middle.. we'll see but looks like Venice is on the horizon for me. There'll be more Moscow in the future :)
DeleteGreat necklace! very ethnic.

I love everything about this outfit. The colors, statement costume jewelry, hair, heels...!! You've pulled together a casual yet polished look.
ReplyDeleteI was so inspired by your outfit, I completely forgot to answer your question! Duh! I'd say Moscow. Personally, I've never been but have always been curious about the city.
DeleteI'd love to discover Moscow too but after inquiring I am not sure it will happen this time. The trip is on the 2nd and I need visa to enter so no can do with the short time in between. Venice it is but my husband is going to take me to another part of Venice this time since I've seen the usual tourist spot many times. We'll see!
DeleteI haven't been to Moscow or Venice but I'd probably pick Venice...isn't Moscow freezing this time of year? I love your statement necklace, it's so unique and different.

Sharon, surprisingly according to Captain, Moscow is between 18 and 22 at present, so the good season has started, I guess but I'll have to settle with Venice this time due to visa
Deletelovely necklace n nice pairing!
ReplyDeleteVenice...because it sounds Romantic... i have never visited either of the two places.. so my vote is pretty useless... :)
Great statement jewelry and I love your bright pants!

The necklace is lovely. I love the different shades of you wore in your outfit.
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous outfit, and that necklace is lovely. Venice will have lots more lovely Murano glass pieces if you go...I have never been to Moscow though, there might be more exotic treasures there to find.
ReplyDeleteI went to Murano 'island' in Venice a few years ago, amazing pieces they have there.
DeleteHi there! Thanks so much for your comment on my blog earlier this week :) I am so glad you found my blog, because as a result I found yours! I'm loving your style- the shades of blue go great together! Also, I think it's pretty awesome that you live in Dubai! TV producer turned Mom huh? :) that's awesome. It's lovely to meet you! Thank you :) I'll be over there soon
DeleteThank you :)
ReplyDeleteI would choose Moscow, because I live in Croatia, so Venice is just a few hour drive from here; that's why I've been there many times; but if you were also in Venice, choose Moscow and expirience something new :)
ReplyDeletebtw, you look very pretty and the bag you are wearing is beutiful :)

Aww, thanks, darling for your compliments :) I'd love to experience Moscow, unfortunately not this time but I am sure there'll be more trips coming in the future :)
DeleteI love your jewellery.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to both Venice and Moscow but I think I would choose Moscow.
Thank you for your comments, you have a lovely blog.

Definitely a great classic look. What an amazing necklace! Hard to decide, but I've never been to Venice, so I would choose that! But if you have been, why not try another adventure in Moscow! Exciting! Have a great weekend and I hope you can stop by Wrinkled Chiffon and see today's WORK style and number 30 of My One Hundred!
