Happy Easter Weekend!

Hello, beloved readers!  I am pretty sure most if not all of you are busy preparing for tomorrow, Easter Sunday!  As for me here in Dubai, Easter is normally celebrated in a small way.  This weekend the city would be quiter than normal as most expats are travelling back to celebrate with families back home, taking advantage of the school term break that started yesterday for the next 2 weeks.  Tomorrow morning will arrive Captain's family from Rome to spend the next week with us and we are all excited!  What are your plans for the weekend?

On another topic, yesterday we went for a friend's birthday brunch ( remember buying gift in the last post, here? ).  It was a casual one and we were happy to get together with other fellow expats and catch up a bit.  It was great for  Captain especially to see some of his collegues whom he hardly get to see in his line of work.   For this occasion I chose this ensemble, perfect to relax and mingle about in a very casual setting.  Happy Birthday, Alvin!

Finally, me, Captain and the twins would like to wish everybody Happy Easter and enjoy the weekend wherever you are!

    what would you choose:

    Black City Bag: Balenciaga
    Black Saffiano Lux Tote: Prada

    the purpose is casual...
    I have a balenciaga n no prada... :)

Should I opt for colored prada? I like Sabbia, but its Sand/warm color....

    1. Hey, Resham! Good to hear from you :) Well, IMHO Prada Saffiano is beautiful! I am actually eying on one too after spoting it on Mission Impossible 4! I think it could be both casual and elegant depending on how you wear it when Bal City is a truly casual bag with a bit of rock and roll vibe to it. Maybe Prada Saffiano is a good bet since 1) You get 2 look in 1 bag and 2) You add Prada to your collection! As for the color, sand is a classic color but black is timeless, is it not? :)
Let me know what you decide, ok?

  10. We didn't actually get to go anywhere or do anything other than spend time with Hubby's family. Not complaining though, the four day weekend has been necessary!

I've awarded you the Versatile blogger award. If you have received it before however, just answer my tag questions. You'll see: http://happyeverafterbride.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/tagged-again-and-awarded.html
