After a good
workout and lunch at home, me and Captain decided to take a walk and grab a
drink by the fountain next to the tallest building in the world, The Burj
Khalifa.
It was a
beautiful day and many tourists were enjoying the breath taking sight of The
Burj and taking the opportunity to mark their visit with a picture or two. We played tourists too and did the same!

The Burj Khalifa was inaugurated in January 2010 and is standing at 828 metres /2,716.5 feet with more than 160 stories. It houses 900 exclusive residences, 37 office floors, fine dining restaurants and the super elegant Armani Hotel. There is also an observation deck on the 124th floor that is open to public.

It has a beautiful curvy design that was made for the building to withstand the strong high wind that comes from both the sea and the desert around. Recently The Burj was featured in Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible 4 where he was hanging from one of the top floors of the building with the spectacular view behind him.
Burj Khalifa Dubai, the tallest building in the world; I don't know for how long it will hold the crown but for now I am happy to say I live a few steps away from it!

That particular sunglasses are from Forever 21. I hardly buy anything fancy coz I tend to loose them. My favourite one I recently lost them in Paris. Hopefully somebody is enjoying them now ;)
DeleteWow...your oufit is superb...Michael Kors one of my favorite designer, but I never try to buy their clothing. Its need so much of $$$$. I just collected the bags. One of my favorite is Grayson in Gold, speedy style.....I been to Dubai this year, in Feb, but dont have the chance to go up to Burj Khalifa....
